I DON'T like where AI is taking our industry anymore
Sep 08, 2025AI might be the worst thing that's ever happened to us
Now that might be weird to hear coming from me
For the past 3 years,
I've spent most of my time trying to convince people to use AI
It's just that so many people are using it horribly wrong
And if we don't fix it...
The terminator movie might end up going from sci-fi to reality
So here are the 4 horsemen of the AI apocalypse
1 . Loss of Creativity
AI was originally projected to get rid of all the manual labor jobs
So people can spend all their time pursuing their passion and creative work
Instead, it has gotten rid of all creativity
People are using AI to come up with all their marketing
From video scripts to flyers to captions to emails to blogs to literally everything
They don't even revise it or add any personality to it
It's gotten so bad that people are using it to plan dates and proposals
There's no thought or effort put in anything anymore
2 . Loss of Decision Making
There was an episode of SpongeBob that aired ages ago
In the episode SpongeBob found a "magic conch shell"
It was kinda like talking to an Alexa
They started worshipping the shell and asking it questions
For example, "should I eat spaghetti or turkey?"
They wouldn't take any action without first asking the shell
And this is kinda where we're headed with AI
People can't make decisions for themselves anymore
They have to ask ChatGPT for permission first
3 . Loss of Connection
It's ironic how despite having more access to people than ever
People are feeling lonelier and mental health has plummeted
Now this has been an ongoing trend ever since social media has taken over
But with all the new AI automation tools it's getting even worse
Last week, was a great example of this
I turned 24 last Tuesday
Some people called, some texted, some commented on my birthday post, some emailed
But some sent an automated birthday message with "text STOP to unsubscribe" underneath
Now for holidays I understand the automated text
But a birthday? Come on...
It only takes a minute at most to send a text
It makes it feel as if you're only reaching out to check the box
4 . Loss of Significance
A lot of people are trying to get AI to sound, think, talk, look, and write just like them
Pretty much they want like an AI clone or duplicate of themselves
Not realizing, if you can be duplicated then you can also be replaced
Think about it for a second
If AI can replicate you and no one can tell the difference,
Why would anyone work with you?
AI can work 24/7
AI is free to use
AI has access to ALL publically available info on the internet
If AI can replicate you, you don't matter anymore
You have no value to provide to the marketplace
So what can we do to prevent the AI apocalypse?
It's too much to get into in this email
Which is why I'm hosting a masterclass inside of my mastermind today at 3 PM ET
