ChatGPT is Breaking the Internet Once Again
Jul 29, 2025ChatGPT is slowly becoming autonomous.
What does this mean?
It means you can give it some instructions—and it’ll complete the task on its own.
Let me break it down with a simple example. Let’s say you’re going to a conference in November. You can tell ChatGPT to:
-
Look up flights to that city from your nearest airport
-
Input the departure and arrival dates
-
Include specifics like the airline you prefer and the type of ticket (economy, first class, etc.)
Once it finds options, it can even book the flights for you.
How Did This Happen?
In January, OpenAI announced a new tool called OperatorGPT. Originally, it was only available to users on the Pro Plan ($200/month).
At first, I didn’t see a strong use case for most business owners. It was convenient—but not $200-per-month convenient.
Fast forward to July 17, and OpenAI dropped a game-changer:
Agent Mode is now available to all paid users, regardless of plan!
Here’s Where It Gets Wild
With Agent Mode, you can now connect ChatGPT to external tools like:
-
Google Drive
-
Google & Outlook Calendar
-
Canva
-
Dropbox
-
And more
So let’s say you want to prepare a report on the current housing market. You could ask ChatGPT (in Agent Mode) to:
-
Surf the internet to find credible sources
-
Conduct research on the market
-
Create a spreadsheet and automatically upload it to your Google Drive
-
Convert that spreadsheet into a slide deck so you can make a video or presentation
-
Book a lunch meeting on your calendar
-
Find a nearby restaurant and book a table via OpenTable
-
Draft and send an email to invite the person
That’s just one example. I'm personally looking forward to testing this and exploring even more use cases.
How to Start Using Agent Mode Today
Here’s how to activate it:
-
Log into ChatGPT
-
Start a new chat
-
In the chat prompt area, you’ll see a small icon labeled “tools”
-
Click it—then select Agent Mode from the pop-up menu
-
That’s it—you’re ready to go
From what I’m seeing, Plus users get about 40 uses, so use this feature wisely (for now).
But Don’t Get Too Hyped Just Yet…
With great power comes great risk.
Now that ChatGPT can connect with other apps, it also means it has access to more of your sensitive information. And the more data it has access to, the higher the risk if that data ever gets leaked.
That’s why in next week’s email, I’ll be diving deep into data privacy and safety. I’ll also be doing a full walkthrough tutorial inside my mastermind, where I’ll cover the good, the bad, and the ugly of this new tool.
So stay tuned—because things are just getting started.
