ChatGPT...The Ultimate All in One Content Tool?

Last week I talked about how ChatGPT launched a new image generation tool.

You can now create and edit images without learning:

• Canva

• Photoshop

• Or any graphic design skills

All you have to do is ask it to "create this" or "change that."

From Still Images to Moving Pictures

Now another word for image is picture.
And another word for video is motion picture.

In the video world, you hear things like 30 fps or frames per second.
That’s 30 pictures in a single second.

Right now, ChatGPT can create and edit one picture at a time.
And it moves pretty slow.

Eventually, it’ll speed up.
Then it’ll be able to create and edit multiple pictures at once.

And one day, it’ll be able to create and edit so many pictures that it’ll turn into videos.

Imagine That...

Imagine you could edit your videos without having to spend hundreds of dollars on an editor,
or countless hours learning about video editing.

Like what if you recorded a 1-minute video and uploaded it into ChatGPT...

Then typed in:
“Add some fancy captions”
And poof, captions appear.

Then typed in:
“Cut out any filler words or awkward pauses”
And poof, they’re all gone.

That’s where we’re headed.

The Craziest Part? It's Already Happening

In Q1 2024, OpenAI launched a tool called Sora.

This tool turns text into video.

So if you said:
"Create a video of a realtor in front of a brand new house"
It can generate it for you.

Originally, it was only available to a select group of people.

But in December 2024, they launched it to the public.
If you’re on any of the paid plans, it is already available to you.

Is It Practical Yet?

Currently, I personally think there’s not much practical use case for it—
unless you edit your own videos and need some b-roll.

But I predict that in the future, OpenAI will incorporate Sora into ChatGPT,
kinda like what they did with this new image generation tool.

And when that happens, it’ll be a little wonky at first.
Once they work through all the kinks, though?
It’ll be scary good.

The All-In-One Super Tool

You ever see one of those memes about men’s hygiene?
There’ll be a photo of a guy holding a shampoo bottle,
and the bottle will say:
“12-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, detergent, toothpaste, lotion, dish soap…”

That’s kinda what ChatGPT is turning into.

But like… in a good way.
